Question 1

Is Catalyst therapy?

Accepted Answer

No. Rebecca is an AMFT and brings a clinical frame to this work, but the cohort is not a therapeutic relationship or group therapy. It's structured around a specific goal, not open-ended processing.

Question 2

How is this different from doing a workbook or values exercise on my own?

Accepted Answer

You've probably already done a version of this. A workbook, a values sort, a few sessions with a therapist. That's not what's missing, and doing it again on your own won't fix it. What a workbook can't manufacture is a deadline, a small group of people at your level, and the fact that you told them out loud you were doing this.

Question 3

Why not just wait until I have more clarity?

Accepted Answer

Because clarity tends to arrive after you move, not before. If you've been circling this for a while, more time alone with it usually means more circling. Six weeks with real stakes and real peers is what breaks that pattern.

Question 4

What happens after the cohort ends?

Accepted Answer

You keep your private Notion workspace and everything in it. If you want to continue into 1:1 work, $550 of your cohort fee credits toward a 3-month engagement, and you skip the Initial Signal Assessment since you'll have already done that work.
